    Got a call from mom today. Tony, the tomato’s gonna be ready early august, she said, you have to say it in an Eye Talian accent if possible. Meaning, we be making the Gravy (sauce to you non Eye Talins)
    Now getting ready for a trip to Jersey to pick up a crap load of tomatoes in a couple weeks, prepping all the equipment, cookers, burners, jars, tents (cause we make in outside and need it if it rains) etc…
    The photo is from a couple years ago. Last season we made 421 jars. That was a record.
    Family event, wine, beer, food and lots and lots of Eye Talian cursing at each other.
