Man I didn't want to get out of bed this morning the humidy the past couple days has pulled all the energy out of me.

 

Meant to post this on Wednesday. Pulled up to a bee lead. I tell you what wearing a bee suit when it's 87° out with 90% humidity sucks. This blad face hornet hive was the size of a trash can. Pictures are desiving

Those are the black bastards with white heads and stripes right? Those things are vicious, I took out a hive they had made in our tree at my parents old house right around dusk one night. The tree was probably 25 yards away from our front porch and I ran quick into the house. Turned the porch lights off out front and just had the living room lights on inside, those things came up to the house and were crawling all over the window screens on EVERY window. They literally knew we were inside the house. Turned the lights off in the living room then and came back over an hour later. There were still a few on the screens still, never seen any other kind of insect do that but pretty crazy.

 

Anyone have recommendations for a shop to do a clutch replacement for my 2009 4.0 tacoma? I work in New Holland, Live in Leola.... I was looking at the South Bend Stage 1 clutch kit.... Happy to hear anyones opinions/input..

I think they are hornets, which are the worse for aggressiveness.

 

Nope put the bee suit on cut the branch off and put the whole hive in a trash bag collected 250$ and dipped. Was there for 5mins.

 

Yup they have photographic memory. Crazy right. Funny thing is I'd rather deal with them than yellow jackets. Oddly enough bald face hornets are actually ariel yellow jackets.

 

No bee jobs today. Just got home and just when I didn't think I was going to work this Saturday I sold a flea job and they want it done on Saturday so guess who's working Saturday. Told my boss I'm coming in only for that job than going home don't ask me to stay for anything else.

7th Annual AOAA Invasion - October 13-15, 2023

 

Yeah boy. Had the grandkids last Friday so took the day and we hit green dragon then to shady maple. Granddaughter loves the fries and chicken. Me, a lot of everything then complain the next two days I ate too much and don’t eat cause I’m still full.
Love it however, and the breakfast is the best. I make a bagel sandwich with a chicken strip, scrapple, sausage and hash browns with a side of cream chip beef and home fries. Then go back for another.
Yeah, I like to cook but sometimes I like to just pig out and have someone else cook. Enjoy.
