There are several "No rinse" and "Waterless washes" that do a good job if the truck isn't too dirty. You can but a gallon of distilled water and get the truck clean. Last drought, someone called the code officer on me for washing my truck. Just shook his head when I showed him the bottle of distilled water.

My highlight for today was slicing my ring finger open with a razor blade. Just the tip tho. Tried to super glue it closed but was pumping to much blood so just wrapped it up. And kept pushing on with my day.

I’m surprised how many guys I work with wear metal rings. Degloving is a thing, so is having a conductor inches from live wires

Degloving is no joke. Seen it twice. Once from a ring, once from teeth.

I see what the problem was...no duct tape.

    That's what she said.

seriously, that does suck. Hope it heals quickly. Cuts in awkward places on your hand can be a menace.

When I drove the garbage truck I never wore my ring when I was married. I seen a guy rip his finger off and I warned him about it. Luckily he saved his finger and was re attached.

I got a kick out of " just the tip when I was on the phone with my co worker". I was on the phone with him when it happened trying to get a new blade out of the little slide case it was in. He got a good chuckle out of it.

Question for all of you. If I have a license plate that’s deteriorating, can I get the same plate and number to replace it? Reason in asking, wife’s car has a low number Flyers plate. It’s shot for some reason and they, the DMV, says no. You get what we give you, sucker…
Don’t sound right to me. It’s my plate, my registration says so. Anyone come across this?

This doesn't sound reasonable, but then, when is the DMV reasonable?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Sadly some people learn this lesson the hard way.

I have seen clueless wives demand the Husband never remove the metal ring till it comes off with the finger.

My understanding is that when you fill out and submit the MV-44 you are getting a replacement of the same plate. They'll even do personalized ones for a fee.
