I like Breadworks but if I have a choice, it's Mancini's for me. It's crustier, like a real Italian bread should be. Out my way, it goes quickly, so sometimes I have to make other choices. As a child, my mother bought Cellone's. That would be down my list. And, as a child, my grandmother, who lived in Oakland at the time, would take us to the back of a bakery nearby and they would gve us a free roll, hot out of the oven. This was in the early 1970s. I was never able to find out the name of that bakery. I doubt it still exists. I think it was near Panther Hollow, but I was about 8 or 9, so I wasn't really paying attention to the location, just the roll.

Good morning all. Back to work after my long weekend road trip on the bike. Ride home yesterday from WV wasn't bad until we hit the PA border on I-81 north out of MD. Rest of the ride was in rain with crap visibility and idiots in cars camped in the left lane or idiots with no lights on in pouring down rain.

Two of my pet peeves right there. Left lane campers, in particular.

Morning fellas. So I have a question to pose to you all being as you all own a Tacoma. Just found out recently we're going to be expecting another addition to the family, that'll make 3. Seeing as the backseat of my double cab is already somewhat cramped with 2 car seats, adding another infant car seat to the equation is going to be a problem.
Question 1: Do any of you have/had 3 car seats in your DC at any point and did it work? From what I gather, the only way this will work is if I get a slimmer car seat and put my oldest in a booster in the middle. She's not currently ready for a booster though.
Question 2: I still owe close to 11k on my truck and have a payment of around $350. I love my truck and find it practical to have for many reasons, but I'm starting to lean towards possibly selling it/trading in and buying something more spacious in the rear, eliminating my car payment altogether, or reducing it down to $100 or less a month. Money is going to be tight for us as we just bought a new house that we had to overpay on to get. Plus daycare costs when the kid comes. Would you personally go this route given the circumstances?
I'd like your guys input on this matter haha, honestly.

I’d think your children’s safety supersedes everything.

get a minivan, enjoy having something that can haul full sheets unlike your Tacoma

First and foremost congratulations! I have 4 children and never ever wanted a minivan however once I got one it fit my needs so well I got a second one. We had a sienna and it was a great vehicle, possibly one of our best.
I like no car loans if possible, can u trade down and find a low mileage minivan and pay cash ?
For a while I did have 3 car seats in the back of our Buick, so it does work but not the most comfortable.

Thank you everyone, yes their safety is first and foremost. I like the whole no-payment option as well, wasn't really looking into minivans though haha. I'm a VW/Audi guy so I'm considering a midsize sedan with decent rear legroom/a wider back seat. Must be AWD because of where I live so I started looking at older A8's cause they're basically small limos. Then I kinda changed course because of maintenance costs and MPG wouldn't be ideal either. Found a used 2014 VW CC 4motion with only 69k on it near me that I could probably trade for straight up possibly. It's the top level trim and has all the bells and whistles, just not sure if the back seat area is large enough until I go look at it.

I'm more of wagon guy, I would totally rock a wagon but no minivans for this dad haha. I may have to look more into those options.

As much as I love Audi, the fact that you said money might be a little tight would be enough to steer you away from any of them. Regular maintenance isn't so bad, but if anything fails on one outside of warranty it's going to hurt; especially at a dealership. Independent shops vary.

If I would have become a family man I totally would have tricked out a Honda or Toyota minivan :D

Good luck on your search and decision! And congrats on the upcoming addition to your family.

Also you never talked about if u have another vehicle? If u do then really u only need 1 vehicle to hold 6? For a while we had the sienna then I had my work car/beater.

Yes, that was the other reason I started looking into alternatives. This is my first Japanese vehicle ever, I'm pretty much a Euro guy when it comes to cars. Trucks on the other hand, Toyota is pretty much top dog reliability wise so that's what I got.

My wife has a 2018 Tiguan which should be ok, she wants to possibly upgrade to an Atlas though. I need to be able to transport them all in my vehicle as well though, she drops the kids off at daycare and I pick them up.
