The same shit everyone else has.
Funny. I shot that deer around 4:45pm. We saw 5 deer in the morning, all while it was too dark to shoot. Then nothing until I jumped 1 around 2:30 while I was driving them. Then right before dark, we jumped a group of at least 15 of them.

Nice. I love mine. Its always been super reliable. Only complaint I have is its sometimes hard to find ammo for it.

Hey guys , question , so I just moved back here to york pa after thirty five years and im doing a research on how to get a CCW and if im reading it right , all i have to do is the application also a passport size photo and summit it and pay a fee of $17 and it takes 45 days . I didnt see anything on taking a safety class . Do i have to take a gun safety class ? Because in AZ in order to get your CCW you need to take the class if you want a permit .

Yup, print out the Permit to carry paper work, fill it out, with the 2 references, then head over to the Sheriffs office. They took my pic. I got my permit in less than 2 weeks. link http://yorkcountypa.gov/courts-crim...apons-permits/licenses-to-carry-firearms.html

    Stand your ground/Castle doctrine: Yes.

Open carry: Yes. Although to OC in a city of first class (only one in PA is Philly) you need to have a LTCF. Other than that you're good. Usual restrictions though of no fed buildings or around k-12 schools.

Yep. I actually finally got around to getting mine Thursday. Took 10 minutes and 20$. They did the background check, took the picture, printed, and laminated the permit all right on the spot.

Print out the form. Fill it all out completely and correctly.

Form can be found here - http://www.co.westmoreland.pa.us/index.aspx?nid=352

Typically you go to your Sheriff's office, ours is located at the county courthouse, and get the permit. Find your county's website, you should be able to find a link to the Sheriff's office and they'll have more info on times/locations. I know here in Westmoreland County, the Sheriff's office does what they call "satelite locations", which are just different locations in the evenings other than the courthouse which is super convenient.

All depends on the county/sheriff and how busy they are. For me it took a couple weeks but I read that's just how my county sheriff runs it. You could always print out the form, mail it, then wait for the call to go pick it up.

Also, if you have an AZ ccw then it's recognized here. I think there is some small quirks about non resident permits compared to resident though.

No, references don't have to be PA residents.

Az and Maine are the two most gun friendly states , Az as of five years ago , you dont need to have a CCW to carry a concealed handgun . You can get a CCW if you want but you dont need a licence to carry concealed . It was nice .

I used my buddy who moved to Ohio in the spring and my girlfriend as a reference with no issue. Just make sure they have a clean record - no red flags.

I got mine from York about a year ago and I think I mailed in the paperwork then received a call that I could go pick it up. My references were never contacted.

Good luck finding a parking spot when you go. I think I circled the place 3 times before I found one. Take some quarters with ya.
