coming from a guy who got Lyme’s disease years ago, just send it. If you picked the tick out you’re good. The ticks are everywhere, no use to not have fun hunting for that reason. Thats like saying I’m not going to drive my car because people die every day from car accidents, it’s a small risk…very small.

Agreed, premethrin and deltamethrin are pretty good. Clean the truck, spray it down and make sure it is dry, as you do not want to inhale the aerosols, and youre good to go. You should catch a faint aroma when you climb in. Retreat every 3 to 6 months, i usually go by when you can no longer catch the aroma.
There is also a bed bug spray from ortho that we've used in a cabin, that keeps it bug free.

I came up on a nasty accident in Horsham earlier today while on an Uber Eats delivery. I did not witness the accident, but I'm 99% sure that my dashcam did, so I stopped and waited for the police to show up; I gave the responding officer my contact info and I am going to go through my dashcam footage to see if I got anything. Both drivers claimed to have a green light from what I heard, but apparently the blue big rig was turning left and the RAV4 was turning right, so it would seem as though the big rig is at fault. The passenger in RAV4 was bleeding pretty heavily from her head, but she was walking and talking when the ambulance showed up...

I wonder if the car was going straight through - the way it sits makes me wonder how if it were turning right it wouldn't be pushed over closer to the curb - it should have started it's right-turn very close to where the cop is standing in the final pic. I started using a dashcam a couple years ago - it went from 'neat to have' to feeling essential lately.

Either way, if the RAV4 had a green light, it had the right of way.

Not necessarily, if a truck is caught in the intersection while waiting in a green light to make a turn they have the right of way "to get out of the way", I've been driving truck for decades so I've had to deal with this situation plenty (not involved in accidents personally but people getting pissed off at me for blocking the intersection or turning after the light turns red). It doesn't look like it wasn't a high speed impact so I agree with the above statement about the Rav4 owner being in the wrong. I also used to drive tow trucks as well as did accident reconstruction for insurance companies so I have experience figuring out what happened in most accident scenes.

So looking at that intersection setup I would guess that the Rav4 was going straight thru the light in the left lane and wasn't paying attention and didn't see the truck. I say this because of the light impact and positions of each vehicle. If the Rav4 driver said they were making a right hand turn they were in the wrong either way because they were in the left lane. So they either tried switching lanes in an intersection "illegal" or trying to make a right turn onto Horsham Rd. from the left lane "illegal". The truck couldn't have been going faster than 5-15mph max and no higher than 6th gear, if it was going any faster there would be more damage and the rav4 would've been either spun around or rolled.

I just reviewed the dashcam footage and sent it to the email address given to me by the cop on scene; I was quite a distance away from the intersection, but from where I was it almost looks as though the semi is going straight. I also recall the driver of the RAV4 saying "I thought we had a green"; I did not see the RAV4 until after the accident happened.

The truck more than likely got the green left turn arrow along with his side of traffics green light but didn't get going fast (being a big truck) and the Rav4 probably thought they had a green light since the saw the other side traffic moving. Big truck and Rav4 met in the middle of the intersection (green crossroad line) as seen in pictures. Seen it plenty of times, almost had vehicles hit me making left turns at lights where they saw traffic moving and didn't pay attention to the light. Rav4 was definitely in the left lane and "not" making a right turn. The more I look at the salelite and street views, topography of that road/intersection and positions of vehicles involved it's 95% the Rav4's fault. I say 95% because I wasn't there, don't know exactly what the light/arrow situation was at the time but with everything that I see the Rav4 was in the wrong. Hopefully the truck driver had his paperwork and everything in order and running legal or they will get be held liable. Old saying about big truck accidents with 4wheelers "Whoever has the bigger vehicle wins until the police/dot, lawyers show up".
