I pulled the site up on my iPhone yesterday for the first time in many many months. It looked small to me but that may be just because I'm used to seeing it on my big computer monitor.

 

It's definitely smaller , started a few days ago. I was probably relaxing in the recliner falling asleep as usual and touched something.....

 

The tax setup in the entire country is effed. PA definitely blows though for it.

 

Then add in the turnpike cash tolls!!

 

Just got this in the mail. My truck is the base model and didn't come with it.

 

And not even 5 mins after I got the switch in. My lcas came in.

 

those LCAs look serious!

 

It's going to be awhile before I put them on. Spring install. Atleast save them from This winters salty roads.

 

Some vendors stopped going to Carlisle because the government sent secret shoppers who reported them for not collecting tax on cash deals for stuff like used car parts.

 

Stopped at Auto Zone on my way home from work and had my battery tested. Failed on load test so went ahead and bought a new battery. Don't want to have to sdeal with it if it's snowing tomorrow as forecast. Looks like the battery was the original so I guess not too bad.

 

disgusting on the part of the state. gross.

And don't get me started on this whole E-commerce tax. It used to be that I could buy stuff online without having to pay PA sales tax, for example buying hundreds of dollars worth of aftermarket audio equipment for my Tacoma on Crutchfield, which is based in Virginia. Crutchfield now collects sales tax from all states that require it, but in 2017 or 2018, I got a notice in the mail from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania when I filed my taxes; I had to pay sales tax on a dashcam and a head unit that I'd bought over a year later, and I boycotted Crutchfield for a while because they'd ratted me out to the government.

 

There are fewer and fewer good places left to live and it's heartbreaking.

 

At least we don't live in a state where they make you pay sales tax on vehicle...

to Connecticut and Virginia for charging property taxes on motor vehicles!

How much do you pay to register your truck? I just renewed last summer and I paid $165 for two years (up $25 from 2021)...

 

Oh wow , that sounds high. Let me check, $72 for 1 yr. Now my sons 2019 long bed tacoma reg gross weight for his is 5600lbs is $97. Mine @ 5000lbs is $72.
