He's in highschool, the last of Pittsburgh Public Schools to still have a Shop Class. His school group placed 3rd and he placed 6th only because he wasn't there when it was judged so they couldn't see the engine, trunk and interior.

Still not bad. Back in 2009 I had my 1987 GMC Sonoma Show truck in the same show and got Best in Class. Met Chip Foose there and had him sign the glove box door.

And yes, that's all custom paintwork and pinstripping around the flames, no vinyl decals. 390cfm Holley on a nowhere near stock 2.5 Iron Duke 4 cylinder motor (374hp 410ft lb torque) built with mostly Pontiac H.D. parts backed by a 4 spd manual trans.

GM. I hope so, walk in was brisk. I saw 3 degrees on 51 , then 9 degrees in Oakland.

Might have some ice up my way tomorrow morning though. My wife has come a long way in driving in the snow but she won't drive on ice and I don't blame her. Hopefully it misses us tomorrow. Supposed to be near 50 by Thursday.

Looks like I get to do a little electrical today. Noticed last night going downstairs to grab something out of the beer fridge the one night lite wasn't working. That's odd as they're LED and those rarely burn out. Outlet has no power and there's a junction box in the ceiling where it gets its power from. So, I get to open that disaster up today... Whoever did the drop ceiling a couple years ago in the basement should never touch electrical again. There's some serious F'ery going on. I got to pull wire out of some floor joist in the other part of the basement anyways, so I guess it'll be warmer inside today... :annoyed:
