I PURCHAESD mine on June 26th, but they couldn't have been manufactured on the same day and delivered to my tire place. I called just to be sure and the tire place told me it doesn't apply to me. Makes sense.

Worked for a motorcycle dealership for several years and tire age was a big concern there. Most bike dealerships won't even mount a tire over 5 years old. Sadly a lot of riders don't wear out tires that quickly so we'd see tires all the time that were cracking or dry rotted and would no longer pass state inspection. I only have that issue on my antique Honda as it only sees a couple of hundred miles in a year at best. My main bike goes through 2-3 pairs of tires per year.

These look like they were about 6 months old when I got them. I called several places and this tire place had them for the cheapest price. Are tires 6 moths old problematic?

Absolutely not, in fact that's likely as fresh of a tire as you'll get. I bought 2 sets of motorcycle tires last year in the Spring and both pairs that came in were already over one year old. I wouldn't worry about tires being under about 3 years old to start unless they showed obvious signs of improper storage like cracking or dry rot or physical damage from mishandling.

Generally speaking, what mileage can one get from a bike tire? Never owned one, just curious..

Just when you think truck tires are bad.....Bike tires are a whole different game. Much depends on the type of bike and they type of riding. When I worked for a Harley Davidson dealership a touring model could often go over 20k miles on tires. Now those tires were a rather hard compound meant for good longevity but not so good for hard cornering. On a crotch rocket/sport bike where handling and performance are the top priority I saw guys run through a rear tire in less than 3k miles and that was if they didn't do burn outs. On my Yamaha FJR1300, that bike is sort of a blend of both worlds with really good cornering and handling ability yet the comfort to travel 2-up for days on vacation. My best life on a pair has been just over 13k miles with the front tire being more worn than the rear. I likely could have gone another 1-1.5k on the rear but I always change both at the same time. I bought my own motorcycle tire changer during Covid so that saves me a lot of money on paying someone else to mount and balance. Currently the tires I use I can get delivered to my house for around $400 per pair. I use at least 2 pairs a year currently and have mounted a 3rd set once in 2018.

Surprisingly smooth for an HD truck, surprisingly good fuel economy, and a decent stereo system... :headbang:

Yeah they ride pretty good. If you put better shocks on than the Crapcho's....night and day difference.

    What trim package?

LT, I think, with Z71 package. It had heated cloth seats but not the Bose speakers...

Oh, with the higher trim packages the stereo is pretty good. Most people think I have done something to my trucks stereo.
