I get my bags at Costco. I did not have to get any last Fall because I had 3 bags from the previous years. I tend to spread it liberally and still have two bags left.

Good morning all. Harrisburg/York area is a shit show this morning. I saw 3 accidents on my way to work this morning. I-83 is currently a shit show with an accident at Reeser's Summit leaving southbound side blocked. I could only do abut 25-30 and started sliding once myself. Had a Jeep Liberty in front of me do a complete 360 and come to a complete stop. I was keeping sufficient distance that it wasn't an issue for me until some jackass in a Honda sedan came flying up on the pair of us. Not a good day to be on the roads here. Stay home unless you must go out.

 

It really baffles me. I grew up in this area in the 90's and don't ever recall people having this kind of trouble.

It’s far too easy to acquire a drivers license these days. There’s no formal lessons given. You take the ‘test’… you pass. Easy peezy…
My son’s drivers Ed teacher was a prime example. I asked him to have the kids drive Rt 100, I-95, the Schuykill Exp. He said no way those roads are crazy.

It's coming down pretty good by me. The rain turned into sleet for about an hour and than snow. I've passed 2 accidents. People still out here driving like it's a sunny day.

 

The snow is heavy/heart-attack snow. Be careful shoveling. Already lost one cedar in the back. Sure miss my truck.....and the chainsaw I keep in it!

 

Shoveling snow? Get a wife for that...they love that stuff.

 

not a single snowflake to be found in the western part of the state. sun is shining and it's gonna be 40.

Pushed about 5 inches off snow off the tacoma's roof. Super heavy stuff.
Sitting out front of my mechanics now, supposed to get a wheel bearing done. I'm the only one in the parking lot. DOh.

 

You know this area IS for pointless discussion. Occasionally there is a technical question.

There are other areas if you want super technical discussions. It's a pretty big website.

Surprised how well penndot kept up with the snow around here, they totally flopped back in January. Warm roads didn't hurt either.

 

They only like digging up the past…

 

A good 8" here in Northern Lehigh county. Roads closed due to stuck vehicles, trees down. Power was on and off for a while and now out for over an hour. Waiting for the snow to stop then will break out the snowblower and generator.
