Been out since 415am just got home. And I concur was a very nice day. A bit windy by me though.
I also found a nice little fishing hole today. Unfortunately I was working so no rods. Asked my brother if he ever fished it and he said no guess I'll be hitting that spot up in the spring hopefully there's some nice bass in there.

We need some new compressors at work so bad. They're old antique screw type and require constant resetting. We have one that's been a big problem child. We'll all be using air doing PM's at one time and we have to take turns re-setting it. There's politicing going on why we haven't gotten new ones, but that's not a subject (disclosure agreements) I can't share here.

Yeah this unit is sweet and quiet. Lecture hall directly across from mech room. I made the statement kids should get better grades due to less distractions salesman got a kick out of that.

Adam I was fighting tooth and nail for this new setup with resistance from management. When building went down and Proffs started sending e mails and calls....yeah.

I haven't posted in a few days - just wanted to let you know what's going on.

We have two Labrador Retrievers - one is 8 and the other 13. The younger one has been having back discomfort and we thought she might have a compressed disc. A CT scan on Tuesday confirmed a malignant spinal tumor. Radiation treatment, even if possible, will cause more discomfort for her than it will be worth, longevity-wise. Prognosis is 2 to 6 months. We're managing her discomfort for now - she's happy but slow moving. Still eating, drinking and wagging her tail.

On Monday night before taking Sunny to the neurologist in Allentown, our older Lab Duffy had what we thought was a stroke. She's since been diagnosed with Vestibular Syndrome. Not wholly stable to walk, nauseous so she doesn't want to eat. It "should" clear in a few weeks, hopefully.

In the meantime, both dogs have diarrhea from the meds/stress. They need to go out every hour or two. Sunny takes her meds, Duffy hates them. Duffy will, a least, eat lunch meat and cheese, chips...any kind of junk food we give her so at least we're getting some food into her in the interim.

I've slept on the floor with them for the past 3 night so I can know when they have to go out. Getting 1 to 2 hour bursts of sleep and sore hips.

What a nightmare. We're afraid we're going to lose both of them in short order.

    Cancer and old age suck.

Sorry to hear about the problems your friends are having. Cancer sucks. My Beagle had a Vestibular incident. Vet gave him a shot and it fixed him right up. He lived several more until he was 17 years old. Be well.

my heart aches for you. I've loved all of my fur babies with all I could and these periods of their lives take a toll on us. I wish you strength during these times, no matter what lies ahead.
