Going in for my MRI on Thursday for my knees. Not looking forward to the results. Ortho already said there's meniscus damage as well as other damage in both from the x rays and the fact that I could barely walk or stand the day I went in for my visit two weeks ago but needed an mri to really see how bad. They haven't hurt as much lately because I've seriously limited myself on what I do but that can't last forever that way, I still need to work. Doing the front and rear brakes on the Rav4 Adventure tomorrow is going to get them hurting again and when I go to install the full suspension lift kit on my Tacoma Baja is really gonna set them into serious pain from kneeling and squatting down moving around on them for hours.

I felt your pain...and had both knees replaced in 2018...I was 51/52...7 years after I retired from Active Duty Service.

Both my medial meniscus were torn during active duty service and both were scoped (at different times) to the point where too much meniscus was removed.

All I can say is...short term pain for long term gain.

Bone on bone in both knees. Pain isn't too bad and not constant. Been kicking the can down the road for awhile. Started looking for surgeons.

J/K but maybe not to far off. Wife is having oral surgery that will be "robotically assisted".

Good luck with the knees! I know folks who had both done at once with good outcomes. Cuts down on recovery times. I had a hip done 11 years ago and pretty much never think about it.

No, no don't be doing this, get a stool or a bucket to sit on. Alter how you get tasks done. For me, I climb ladders one step at a time. Up with the good (if you have a good), down with the bad. Same with steps. Good luck.

Been putting off putting that fan/light in the new 1/2 bath so I think I need to get that done today. Been dreading crawling in the attic. It's pretty close to the eves so hopefully I can squeeze my fatass in there as opposed to dropping some of the ceiling. o_O

Might be able to do this from below Adam. The bulk of the work anyhow. I have scabbed in a 2x4 butted right up to the new unit, run screws through can. Of course attach vent ducting to unit first and feed up through. Have fun.

Unfortunately I can’t “break my tundra out” cause I traded my taco for it. I need another taco. All these guys talking about knee replacement. Seems pretty common these days. My manager, a coworker, and a good friend have all had theirs done recently.

    Fiberglass insulation? Or blown in?

Both, and it's horrible. The fiberglass is from the 60's and the blown in is from the 80's. Full on N95 needed to be up there o_O

I just ordered a boat load of parts from rock auto for the accord I picked up. Motor mounts, front and rear struts, spark plugs, spark plug wire, front and rear pads n rotors, everything for 350$. Plus shipping of course so more like 380ish.
All new belts forgot to add that in there, timing belt.

The big A word maybe? That sucks. I have some basement stuff to do with insulation. Pretty much a crawl space under my house.
