Heard they plucked 2 out of the water. Hope that's all that's in there.

Edit: CNN reports 7 missing. Not good .

There seems to be some conflicting information right now. Said 20 people all together went down (DOT workers). But then said only 7 remain. It's going to have to be a wait and see kind of thing unfortunately.

Was that a barge/tug boat that hit the key bridge ? I watched the video and didn't take much for the whole thing to drop like domino's. Guessing that boat plowed into the one base and completely took it out.

I know it was a support that the cargo ship hit but damn near the whole bridge came down. I'd assume the structural integrity of the bridge wasn't very well. But I'm no engineer so who knows.

Slowly chipping away at the honda. Had to spray shit ton of pb on the rear brake brackets those bolts are not budging. Leaving it alone for today. Front is done along with the new front shocks. Still haven't messed with the valve cover didn't feel like picking away at that crusty gasket. Also broke loose most of the bolts for the motor mounts and trans mounts. I'll get into that this weekend.

Alignment is getting down and the tech is in the Lifted Jeep community so he knew exactly what I was talking about with setting Caster, camber and toe to lifted secs and not factory specs like all the other shops have done in the past. I'm going to swapthe tires front to back because the fronts had w53 miles on them after the lift with the toe way out so the inner lugs wore some as well as the inner lugs. All the specs are to the Lifted Tacoma gurus suggestions of 2.5 positive caster, 0 camber, 0 to .02 toe in for 2.5" lift. I also had the Taco Tabs set in dead center front and back and the SPC's set at position C. I bought the 3 year alignment from Flynn's on Babcock Blvd in North Hills of Pittsburgh so I can bring it back every 6 months for the next three years.

"Edit" might need to take it back. Pulls to the right, not so noticeable on the city street but really noticeable on the highway.

The Wife and are are headed to
western PA to experience the total eclipse. About an hour South of Erie.

Does anyone know of any good off-road spots out that way? We are going to be out there for a few days. It would be nice to hit some trails too.

I think some bridges depend on themselves for structural integrity. So when one span is taken down the rest of the bridge isn’t as strong. I’m not an engineer either though. Could’ve just been movement/shock that made the rest of it collapse. Regardless it’s terrible. Can’t replace people. And rebuilding that big of a span… years!

for a country that’s already trillions in national debt, the old man Walter offered the fed govt will pay for it all, which means you owe more for next years taxes.

Thank you Matt. Things are busy but good. We are going to do our best to get out and do some adventuring this year though regardless.
