Looks like the next 3 days (my days off) are going to be nice. Think I might actually wash the truck today as it has been a looong time. Pressure washed the underside last weekend, but more rain and it's just disgusting again

My grass has taken off as well. Looks like it needs another round. I usually leave the mulching stuff on for a couple mows, but with all the rain it is way too thick for that and I gotta throw on the high lift blades already!

 

We're cutting our grass for the first time this season. It's high, so probably won't be able to take off as much as I would like, but we have to start somewhere. Just waiting for it to warm up and my grandson to get out of bed.

Something in the soil at my house makes the grass grow like mad with any little bit of moisture. I put some triple 19 on the front yard a couple years ago and it got super thick. Not doing that again

I bet I'm gonna have to jump the mower off though. My first cut I took the battery off its winter tender and it barely had enough oomph to get it going. Battery dated Aug '20 so that sounds about right for a mower battery. Guess I gotta go to the battery place up near @MoneyMan55 here soon.

 

Yeah they sell Deka, good batteries. Good people to deal with also.

 

Just put a large hog maw in the oven. My Boy and Baby Addie coming over for lunch, then an egg hunt. Going to be a good day. Happy Sunday all!

 

LOL. Same here. I had both on a trickle charger - the ride and the push - but took them of to take to a local repair shop for some work. They inexplicably had them for over a month (the guy said he can't find people to work). When they came back both batteries were dead. I thought they would check the battery strength but didn't. I put them on the trickle charger yesterday but neither will turn over. The push is from Apr. 2019 and the ride from Mar. 2020, so I guess it's time for both. My grandson is up at Rural King now getting me two batteries.

 

Finally got that damn rear brake caliper bracket off the bolts were seized up on there. Torched the shit out of them on the accord. Been fight these bolts for a week.

 

$24.99 for each battery. Not bad.
