Made a hogmaw on the Webber Kettle bbq. With the wind, it was hard to keep the temperature up. Cooked it for about 3 hours tot. Didn't turn out ss good as expected. Definately has a smoked flavor due to starting with Kingsford charcoal, then adding wood peices & bark that had been cleaned up from splitting firewood.

Woke up at 1am from some thunderboomers, but nothing too bad. Looks like that storm line petered out before reaching my area. Just enough to wash the pollen off and come back

Good morning PA. Was a really good weekend. Got the mow in; replaced some 2-prong outlets with 3-prong; replaced a dimmer; refined - dare I say mastered? - my home made teriyaki sauce; started shopping electric impact wrenches to get that axle done. Considering breaking it, tying it up to the control arm, then limping the truck to a shop.

I'd prefer a few of you get bored and decide to replace the it for me. :D

Morning PA! Hope the storm didn't cause too much damage last night. Was more show than go where I'm at.

Well, i also sleep with the TV on, or headphones in listening to podcasts about ancient aliens, bigfoot, and/or anything by graham hancock.

But - just had a good idea - Come over, I'll cover your gas, and put you up for the night so you can see for yourself! And when you're not sleeping we can tug on that CV axle... just a thought? :D

Cursed. Army taught me to sleep anywhere. When do I wake up in the night? When things get too quiet.

I've gotten used to the traffic noise around here, in fact big rig jake brakes are a lullaby to me

But other noises keep me awake. Now that the weather is warm I'm finding out the people who are renting the farm house beside me (separated by a good bit) like to party and play loud music. City folks that moved out to the country... :annoyed:

Just like my father he served 28yrs in the army. Man can sleep through anything anywhere.. lighting hit my next door neighbors house about 15yrs ago shook everything off the walls he slept right through it. That boom was so loud woke me up out of a deep sleep.

I live on a main highway traffic helps me sleep. Although they put a light in at the corner which is probably 500 feet away. Now I get those ricers rev bombing at 2am sitting at the red light.

It's a pig stomach stuffed with sausage, spices, and sometimes cabbage depending on your recipe. My mom used to make it when I was growing up. I haven't had it in years. Tried a few times but no one's recipe was quite like hers and I didn't like what I've tried.
