Dentist said there is a big bruise under my lip and asked if my teeth were loose lol. Nope just sore . Slept so so last night, felt better as the day grew longer. Guys at work said I resembled a chipmunk.

I need an impact that'll pull off my axle nut and suspension parts - occasional use; nothing fancy or contractor-grade etc.

An IR will serve you well for many years, keep the hammers greased.

With how little you will use it, if you have 120v nearby you might be better off just going corded. Cordless impact wrenches (not impact drivers, they are different) plus a high output battery is going to set you back significantly more than a corded one.

if you do any maintenance on the truck it will be way beneficial to buy something quality from the get go and if you care for it it will last a life time. All hammers need to be greased I suggest you check the maintenance manuals otherwise you’ll wear them out quickly. I’ve had the 2135 for 15 years and it’s still kickin

So I gotta say I'm glad you're OK and didn't brake any teeth or bones but I know I'm not the only one wondering how the hell to got knocked in the face while drilling a hole. Did it kick back and jump out into your face? I know I've racked my wrists a couple times using my cordles drill hammer and my 1/2" dewalt impact gun.

Hopefully it heals fast. Can't wait to see the doctor Monday. I need to start on physical therapy so I can get better sooner than later. Pushing off jobs and alot of projects. I know this is only temporary but damn I can stand being shutdown. I went and hauled an early 90's Pepsi vending machine. Met my buddy that I haul for that runs his own vending company at the Sportsman club in Moon twp. To haul the old machine so he can install the new one. They tilted it over onto the dovetail of my trailer and it slid up a foot up onto the deck. I strapped it down, took it to scrapyard where my buddy Buzz grabbed it with the claw and tossed it up on the pile. I'm taking it easy but still trying to get some things done.

The M18 cordless is small and only room for 1 hand by the trigger , so u had to hold the back of it with my left and push in , then right was on trigger but my body was close to it and that put my face in the zone . It would drill fine and smooth then it would catch on something and kick back and twice it slipped out of my hand and spun backwards.

Got my grass cut yesterday. Parts of the backyard were soggy but I figured, when will it be better?

All that rain would have been a measly 8 feet of snow.
    If only.

I Moved to PA expecting at least FOUR feet of snow each winter. I think I picked the wrong part of the state.
