Good morning Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Couldn't sleep been up since 2am. My uncle came up from Florida and is staying with me till Friday didn't know he was bringing his dog with him. Welp my shepherd attacked his dog like right away. My boxer got along with his dog fine. But my shep was restless all night kept nudging me. I see an energy crash in my future probably around noon.

Yeah everybody shits on the 4 cylinder but on paper and in reviews it seems to drive way better than the v6

Tbh I'd rather have a v8 taco. Wish they made them.

 

Yeah for sure. Saw a tundra v8 swapped 2nd gen at the Carlisle import show a few years back. Don't remember if it was the 4.7 or 5.7 but it was sweet.

 

Is this a new 4cy to Toyota or have it been around awhile ?

 

It's been around for a few years in the Highlander, crown?, and a few other lexus products but this is its first time in a truck type platform

Good mornign all. Sitting here at the mechanics, getting my icon's replaced. Nothing like trying to upgrade springs only to find your struts are blown and leaking.
Freaking PA roads.....

 

Oh yeah it's real bad. Spent a few evenings last month replacing 2 of the struts in my other car + a tophat mount. Not sure about SEPA but they're doing crazy roadwork here in Central PA. Feels like every other road is down to one lane with a flagger... Pisses me off but at least they're fixing some of the roads.

Were they covered under warranty? If not honestly check out Ironman4x4 Foam Pro Cell suspension. I love mine, rides smooth and soaks up the potholes, manhole covers and everything else on these shitty roads. Will have to check that out. I purchased rebuilt set of icons from a TW listing so we'll how that works out. maybe the nexst time these blow out i'll look at the ironman
