@Delta09 Hey Adam if you need to go anywhere up my way don't take the Warm Spring road. State is tar and chipping the North bound lane, guessing south bound is next. Lived here 19 years never saw this. Dust cloud, nobody slowing down. Someone in Harrisburg is a huge dumb azz in Penn Dot needs demoted. Wonder if they tar and chip roads by Admins houses...

 

They've been doing that around here all around. They did 416 last year and it was a mess. I guess they're using the excess cinders they didn't use this winter

 

Same crap around me and in west Mifflin

 

When they did the state road I travel to and from work that night I thought I was in a damn road valley. Appropriate as we still had the Subaru at that time

 

It's ignorant when they don't sweep up the extra stones, almost criminal. Motorcycle riders got to hate this.

Came to a standstill in front of our house. I walked up and asked the one operator what local he was. Ole boy pulls out his wallet and tells me. Dues paying member yes! I proceed to tell him I helped negotiate our new contract, was on the negotiating committee. Brotherhood lives on in everyday life....

 

What may be worse is when they paint the yellow lines on a two lane road then waive you to cross over the wet paint. I don't want to drive over wet yellow paint.

 

I tried it a different day from a different computer and it worked ok.

Looks like rain again in the forecast. All I want to do is do a quick detail on the truck, but mother nature says nooo

Rain isn't supposed to be in my area until about 10 p.m. tonight.

 

I've seen the Forcast change 10x in the past 2 days I don't know what to think anymore. Now they saying 50% of rain tomorrow with a high of 86. Please forecasters make up your minds.

Just think if we thought like that at work ! I wouldn't last a day. I think the most accurate forecast is probably a 3 day. Anything outside of that is speculation.

Weather forecast impacts my work a lot. Tough to do roof work in a lot of conditions. The 3 day is a decently accurate forecast. But even then things can change significantly. Looks like no rain for a while yet today though. Luckily I can get a couple important things done in that time.
