Bucs pulled Skenes in the 5th. He looked good but not great. You could see the nerves from his first MLB start but I think the pressure of being "the next great guy" was evident.

Man did that temperature drop fast went from 67 at 4 to 56 by 5pm. Now it's sitting at 49. Hello may you can now warm up. This just means we are gonna get a very hot summer.

He pitched into the 5th. At that point he had given up a HR. In the top of the 5th he gave up a double, then an infield single, so they pulled him, having struck out 7. The relief pitchers then walked in 4 straight runs (so Skene's two baserunners were charged to him), followed by a single. The Pirates went from a 6-1 lead to a 6-6 game. Mercifully, the clouds opened up and the rains came. They are still in a rain delay and the best thing would be for it to just keep on raining. They had a sell out. If I was there, figuring Skenes is done, they've blew a big lead and there is a delay of over 2 hours, I would just go to dinner and call it a night. Same old Bucs.

It is kind of a downer for Skenes and all those fans who went there with high hopes. Then to get rained on. I never was patient during rain delays when I use to go to games. Sitting idly is not my idea of fun.

Oh trust me my area is filled with that shit. Every car is tuned or modified in one way. It's just different here in jersey if I go out of state you'll see something here or there but not like here.

 

Hearing a g35 with straight pipes sounds like absolute shit. But they are all over the place. Or seeing someone drive a 80k plus car only to do that annoying tune the pops like a AK every time they decelerate. Ever since they put the light in 2 house down from me I hear that crap at 2am waking me up.

Apparently a nasty storm rolled through a neighboring Maryland county last night. I heard a couple rumbles of thunder, but I slept right through it so it didn't get that bad here. I definitely wouldn't have slept through it otherwise
