Good morning. A nice start to June with the weather. I'll be off soon to participate in a car wash at our church. I hope it warms up slightly so i can shed the sweatshirt.

 

GM all, headed to Oakmont Bakery to meet our daughter!

 

Spent 5 hours in the hospital yesterday. I knew it was another kidney stone but the pain was past my threshold for tolerable so needed some of the good shit. They ofc wanted to do a bunch of tests because that's what they do. Blood and urine tests and an ultrasound later they gave me an RX for some opiates and home I went where I slept basically all day.

Now we continue waiting for this fucker to pass. May as well do laundry since I'm feeling okay atm.

I know the routine, I get them chronically. It's rare I need opiates to deal with the pain so this one must be pretty big.

 

Good morning all. Need to go get blood drawn this morning for my upcoming physical. Wish they opened a little earlier because I'm already hungry and not supposed to eat until afterwards.

 

Guy I knew in Mississippi chronically had them. Doctor told him to grab a 6 pack to flush it all out. Well he got the bright idea that if a 6 pack was good, a 12 pack would be better. So inevitably he was drunk and couldn't pee. That almost wound up poorly...

 

It's actually not a terrible thing to do, but if I mix pain meds and alcohol I'm just going to fall over and drool on myself.

I know a woman, a mother of three, who passed a kidney stone. I asked her which was more painful -- passing the stone, or giving birth? "Kidney stone, no contest" she said. So there you go guys! We can indeed experience the pain of childbirth.

 

I can’t like this at all…… them stones will make me cry like a little bitch .
Did they give you a size of them if not that’s a good thing
