I ride my ATV up that way a lot. Where are you finding truck trails?

Did tram road to Gorton, then split off to Peale up past Moshannon creek, out into Grassflat. Probably was ATV trails but there were several cabins along the way with SUVs beside them lol.

Nice. Right near where Gorton road crosses the old rail bed, there is a spot where you can drive right down to the Black Moshannon creek. When its 100 degrees we sit it lawn chairs in the creek. Also, at the big intersection above the Peale bridge, you can park and walk a quarter mile to an old rail road tunnel

Gonna have to go check the tunnel out next time I'm there. I love the area, feels great to get out in the woods. Gonna have to bring my swimsuit next time I'm there!

Every year or so I go snow wheeling up in Moshannon with a couple of my buddies. Got my ass stuck last year because my tires were almost bald and I didn't air down, but luckily I brought a tow rope and traction boards. These spanish-speaking fellas in a boxtruck weren't so lucky. Tried to get them out but didn't have much luck. Picking up a 95' arctic cat snowmobile from my wife's uncle this next weekend, excited to get it running and hit the trails up there this winter.

Buggies are everywhere now. And from what I’m told about to get the expanded even more. I think end result is being connected to Hatfield McCoy.

Hey there fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians and Othertuckystatians!!

Yes, I am still alive and kicking. The new pup's schedule has me jumping without a lot of time on the PC. Lynn's Mom was transitioned into hospice two weeks ago and then passed away on May 28th. Since then we've been in planning and execution mode for the visitation, service, luncheon and internment of ashes. Finally beginning to catch our wind now although Lynn has a pretty rough sinus infection now.

Truck is still in the shop. They were able to realign the frame. Might get it back this week minus the new tailgate which is on months-long backorder.
