    Just a PSA…

Police are running one of the stupid (and unconstitutional in my opinion) DOT checkpoints at Life Storage on Butler Avenue (202) in Chalfont, PA…

@Stitchgirl90 was freaking out because she thought I was going to get pulled over. There was no cop in that Tahoe, and the last time I checked, there is no law on the books saying you can’t take pictures from your private vehicle even while driving…

I have absolutely nothing to hide, but based purely on principle, no LEO is allowed to search my truck without a warrant; I also refuse to let anybody but a qualified mechanic under the hood of my truck (note the box truck with its hood open)…

A year or so ago, I was waiting in line to get gas at BJ’s in Warrington, PA; I had the windows up and the A/C on because it was very warm. An old lady in a car to my right started frantically waving at me; I turned down the radio and reached across to roll down the passenger window. She thought my truck was “leaking something”, which ended up being condensation from the air-conditioner! o_O

Automotive laypeople really get on my nerves sometimes!

    :annoyed:

The following picture was taken in the parking lot at work this morning, and here is another PSA…

If you see a clear liquid dripping from the passenger side of a Toyota Tacoma on a hot day, it means the A/C works!

Don’t even get me started on DUI checkpoints; I was hit by a recidivist drunk driver in October 2015, and I had the misfortune of running into a DUI checkpoint on my way home from work (at a bar, LOL, but I hadn’t been drinking) on Saint Patrick’s Day in 2017. I believe that people who drive drunk (especially repeat offenders) should be severely punished, but I hate DUI checkpoints with a passion that burns with the intensity of a thousand suns! :luvya:

That's forsure. Pulled up to a 3 arce lot I couldn't do it. My partner had to do it. My legs just not doing the job today. Trust I'm drinking plenty of water but this humidity is just sucking it all out of me.

One time I had a cooler with ice n water in it and a towel in that ice water , would wring the towel out and drape it on my head. Take care buddy , it is nasty . Think today maybe the worst of it.

Got to replace those electrolytes too. Pickle juice can help with that.

We always eat pickles when we’re riding. We had a kinesiologist come to our safety day a couple years ago to talk to us about hydration and heat stresses, exhaustion, stroke, etc. Pickles or anything salty. “Put my salty nuts in your mouth” was the phrase for a couple weeks. We have one of the hottest jobs in construction so it was pretty valuable info
