Morning all! 71* inside with the windows open, loving it

 

Good morning Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. We finally have rain. Looks like it's going to rain nost of the day. I called out of work again for today but doesn't look like they are going to be able to work either way. Still feel like crap today.

Dude thats a 4000 cal breakfast !

 

studies have shown and scientist now recommend a minimum of 4300 calories a day for adults. I’m just listening to the science

I had freakin' oatmeal with blueberries because I need "heart healthy." I would rather have had the eggs, bacon and home fries.

 

He's young still. It'll catch up with him. I always ate as much as possible, not anymore.

 

life’s too short not to eat well

 

I still eat stuff that's "bad for me" but in moderation.

 

that’s what I was always told the secret is, not too much of any one thing and you’ll make out just fine.

 

Best thing to follow. Trying to keep up with nutritional research is a fools errand - one day fat is the devil and the next it's the best thing ever. Same story with other nutrients. I figure the less sugar you eat the better, drink lots of water, stay active!

 

Now I want bacon.

 

Eventually you get to the point where eating too well will definitely make your life too short. A trip to the e.r., followed by a night's stay and a battery of tests will probably be that sign.

 

I have bacon about once a week, eggs maybe twice. Oatmeal and cereal make up the other days, with pancakes and cereal occasionally.

 

Yeah, what I used to eat years ago. An entire large pizza for a snack and never gained a pound.
