Good morning all. Still under a boil water advisory and water conservation mandate here. Got 2 free cases of water yesterday from the water company to help get through. Aren't supposed to drink the tap water or use it for cooking until they repair a broken main.

 

So my GSD got sprayed by a skunk on Friday during a torrential downpour. I think that kind of saved him and only got him in the face, however, if anyone is curious when it's a good time to have a head cold and not be able to smell, it's after your dog has been sprayed by a skunk.

It's been resolved already but he came in and IMMEDIATELY did a face slide across the floor in the one room that is carpeted. I leave the door hang open in the warmer months first thing in the morning so they come in to eat when they're done doing their thing after we get up.

Then I went to work smelling vaguely of skunk, came home, and had to wait till the evening to air the place out.

 

Took the truck to camp stopped for lunch sprayed the weeds and took a few pictures for you all and didn’t have to go to the great GF today

 

Out exploring today. This bridge over Moshannon Creek is normally about 15’ above the water. The water is Higher now. This place is known locally as sketchy bridge. It’s near Phillipsburg

I would of seen that and said nope. That bridge doesn't look stable

 

Yea ,hope all our NE guys n gals are OK. Debbie dropped a lot of rain.

 

She skipped Dallas and got the Northeast instead

 

Looks like an old railroad bridge. Might be a lot less sketchy than folks think...

Yes. Massive steel structure. Just the ties are starting to go. It was originally built for coal trains
