We are still on for Saturday

    August 8th Meet 11:00-?

    Subway
    2148 Palomino RD
    Dover PA 17315

The reason I picked this location is Dave Is camping at Pinchot state park with his family this weekend and Chip and I and some others are going camping on Sept 5 and I thought it would be a great place to check out after we all meet to see if it would be a good place to camp for us that weekend . I have stumbled across the place b4 and the place is amazing and the prices are reasonable . So come have some lunch with us and lets hang and see if others want to join us by checking out Pinchot camping grounds .

Yup. That big rock drop off you went down and I got stuck on and u had to pull me back. I went down that. Then up it twice. Was a fun time. I took another trail and just slid down the rocks there was jeep guys spotting a jeep on another section and ppl filming him. Half way down I glanced over and they were all watching me haha. I was like i have skids time to use them.

Wish I could. I'm lucky if I'd have time for a local meet at this point. :pout:

OMG, sooo full. Thanks to all those that came out to the BBQ. Weather was perfect, Food was good, company was better.. Other than being a very long day and too short of a weekend. I have no complaints..

MD. guy here, any of you Pa members ever go trail riding/camping at Bald Eagle State Forest? I googled it and there's some nice pics of 4x4's on the trails.

My buddy Brian (littles is his TW screen name) was just up there a few weeks ago. Nice park with a lot of dirt roads - nothing too technical, just a pretty place to go off pavement as far as I know.

That's what it looks like. Nothing too bad that you'll break on but still take ya to some nice views. Pretty close to Fred, maybe he could bring the baby out.

Thanks for the replies. That would be fun to pack a lunch and explore the trails and check out the scenery with my wife. Either go up for a day trip or tow my little camper and make a nice 3 day extended weekend trip. The trails look nice in the pics.

I'm planning a trip to BESF in early October. Probably camp at least one night. If be interested to hear your thoughts of you head up.

Purple lizard maps is a good idea. Lots of good trail info.

I camped there one night last year. Very pretty place and I saw my first wild black bear! The trails were pretty mellow though I did air down just for a softer ride.

I just spent a night in Susquehannock State Forest. Just dirt roads but it's nice camping with nobody around and the stars were incredible! It's one of the darkest places on the east coast.

Look into the Maplets also. It has maps for your phone with your GPS location.
