Keystone State Thread

To be fair I did not vacuum the inside just wiped all the dust and ashes up. I have had a migraine since this morning. Trying to avoid loud noises but it's nice enough outside to do some maintenance.

 

Hoping for some eye candy ! Nice day today. 51 here in the burgh. My car really needs vacuuming, has salt on the floor ! Like salt balls ...

One of my buddies at the taxi company dropped off some home made chili. Been awhile since I've had some really good chili. This is my second bowl. Just added some crackers to it and good to go.

 

Looks good. Thanks now I'm hungry.

Good morning everyone. Grateful to see some temperatures above 20 degrees for a change.

 

Luckily, (A) the furnace decided to wait until it warmed up a bit to quit working, and (B) my parents’ house has dual-zone HVAC so we aren’t totally without heat. The house is nine years old and all of the HVAC equipment is original. The downstairs system, which seems to have quit working about two days ago, has never been serviced. My parents set the downstairs system to 65°F at night, so when I came downstairs and found it at 62°F, I realized there might be an issue. The gas fireplace and infrared heater managed to the get the temp up by a single degree this morning…

Poor man's lunch today.

 

The taxi business is not taxing very well today. Been sitting idle for 2 hours now. Gonna be a long super slow day. Can't wait to get that calk to go back to work at my other job. Too bad this warm weather isn't going to last long. It's showing 20s by the weekend bummer

 

So, I was about to start work and forgot to post the rest…

As stated above, the furnace is about 9 years old and has never had a problem; I took this picture this morning. Our trusted HVAC guy came over this morning, and it turns out that the pressure switch is bad. The heat has been temporarily fixed, and he is coming over to replace the part tomorrow…

 

Whoever hung that humidifier right above the furnace should be shot.

Just pure ignorance.
