    -4.75 and -4.50, cataracts since I was 25, and no pigment (i.e. my eyes are "grey", but contacts tint them blue) I feel your pain... America's best usually has good deals and lots of que-pins for the ol eyeballs.

    Happy midterm day. I caught up on normal job stuff while sitting here with my students who are taking their midterms. I'm ready for a nap.

    My eye insurance is stupid AF so I'm stuck with My Eye Doctor. Still the same optometrist since I was kid, but with all the extra paperwork :annoyed:

    There was a 8 year period where I moved to Mississippi so it was either Walmart or a local place for glasses and contacts. All out of pocket o_O

    Yikes...
    I had a family eye doc for years, insurance pushed me to a new one thrice. Finally got back to my family doc, he found the cataracts (mind blown, but I did grow up in a welding shop so... who was a dumb kid?...:welder::drool:) We did the Walmart game when I was a kid, but now the insurance I have is decent working for the college, so I just deal with Americas best, I don't think insurance covers my contacts either if I remember right.

    Yea mine covers some of it, but due to my astigmatism they're :spending: so I'm usually out of pocket about $300 a year for a full years supply o_O

    This whole adult shit is over-rated :rofl:

    My niece just got her license and my buddy text me saying he just seen her with 4 other people in the car.i was like I'm sure in new jersey there is a probational period where they can't drive with more than 1 person. And sure enough I looked it up and I was correct. I guess I just snitched my niece out cuz i sent my sister the screen shot that my buddy sent me. Oops
