oh, so when fred said "my camp this spring big tacoma meet." he meant in the spring, as opposed to say the winter or summer or fall?

    Great!!
My husbands co-worker, his friend & sister...All Penn State alumini and Penn State fanatics with 3 season tickets each & reserved parking spots. My gawd, the one guy graduated in 69 and all of them could name every Penn State player and statistic ever since. It was amazing!

We got there at 9:15am and unpacked everything. Margaritas at 9:30am... That's definatly a FIRST for me. What a trip... They went down just as smooth as if it were 5pm. :D

The game wasn't a high profile game and the place wasn't packed as normally. They were predicting a major ass whoopin. It's amazing the amout of people & fans, the tailgaiting...it was great!

Funny - but this was my first professional football game. I was amazed at how small the football field looked compared to what it appears to be on TV.

After the game, went back out to tailgate some more!!
The 2.5 hour drive home was brutal.... although I fell asleep. I can't imagine traveling that far every weekend like these guys do.

I'd love to do that again - only if the weather is warm!! :D

100 yards is 100 yards (playing surface).

My husband said perhaps the fact the people are seated so close to the field might make it look smaller.

There are also camera's at the top of the stands. I think those also help skew the perspective on tv.
