It is your fault your tree got in his way

Having worked in the strippins the way trucks are torn up and destroyed we get a good laugh about people that do the same thing for enjoyment..

 

Why does that suck about owning land? Just rent a backhoe and that all tree problems are solved lol

SCUBA MOD - Relocating Front & Rear Diff, Tranny, Transfer Case and E-Locker Breather
I just got the threaded adapter for the rear diff from the dealer today but now I'm thinking of doing all the breather with a two valve (filter).


They couldn't give me a price yet but recommended their factory undercoating for the frame. I'm sure it's nothing special. Before they mentioned their coating I wanted to coat everything with chassis saver. I have an appointment to get it krowned this week but now I'm wondering if I should have it coated from the dealer or do it myself for extra protection and then krown sprayed every year?

 

Its easy to do. But I think the only one you need to do is the rear diff. I think the rest are already high

 

At what point does your truck become a rig?

 

Its always been a rig to me but I'm also an ex trucker lol

 

Do you think chassis saver is worth it or just Krown it?

 

I was just thinking of a single location for all the breathers

Oh haha well I think they have the front and tranny under the hood. If you really want you could run the rear diff up there too

 

Glad I don't have to deal with PA and their stupid inspections

 

I've seen some videos on YouTube of restoration jobs with chassis saver and it looks pretty good. It's about $100 a gallon and a lot of labor to brush on. If people are using it to stop rust and treat frame them doing it before a problem is seen would be good but I'd still do yearly krown treatments. I plan to keep my RIG until gas is illegal to buy and the world hunts down planet killers and puts us in reeducation camps.

 

I'll give you $10 if you can reach the trans & t-case breathers without removing them from the truck.
I can barely get to mine & that's with a 1" BL.

 

Did you extend them or just leave them stock.........I plan on doing more extreme trails than you're used to running.

I didn't even look for them yet and all I have to do is reach them? Not take them out.

 

Unless you've got hands the size of a six year old it's not going to happen.

Mine currently are not attached. Breathers are the least of my issues right now.

 

Didn't you get the leaks fixed? What else is wrong?
