Question for the shooters in this thread, do yall have any 600 or 1000 yard ranges around Harrrisburg or York? I might be hoping the border out of MD into PA this summer (Shrewsbury or New Freedom most likely)... and I'll need to find a new range, public or private.

New Freedom would be a fitting place to move to from MD lol

Easy commute to work... with the perk of it being not MD.

There's a private club we shoot at up in Lewistown, we go out to 1050 there. It's not a highpower range it's mostly steel at fixed and unknown distances.

NHRPC is in New Holland it is a highpower range (we have a pit system at 600) and steel from 200-700.

The one you'll want is Shippensburg Fish & Game. Should be the closest to where you're looking without all the traffic of New Holland.

We have tons of places you can shoot a 1000 yards but after 1 or 2 shots you might want to pack up and leave.

What's the club in Lewiston? I'm looking for a place to join, preferably rifle and pistol.

    I've been there!

Once. To buy my CZ452...that now I'm trying to sell haha.

From my short time there, it seemed like a really nice club.

It is exactly what you should expect from a state where it takes $20 and 20min to get a ccp. ;)

See in MD you need to swim down to the Marianas trench to sacrifice your firstborn child and then you can move onto the second part of the application...

I got mine last year. Walked into the Sheriff's office, wrote my name and address on a form, smiled for a picture, and walked out. Maybe 10 minutes total.
