Yes.

Soldering Iron would do it though... Also if you've got a split it the plastic the old superglue + Baking powder trick will fix it right up.

 

Super glue and baking powder? Never heard of that before.

 

Put the glue down wherever you want it and then sprinkle it with baking powder. Hardens instantly.

I've used baking soda as a filler, the sodium is what accelerates the the reaction. Haven't tried the baking powder, I like the idea of it being finer, sometimes the soda is too course.

 

First its the accetone & trans fluid,now this..........

 

Do I need to add any plastic on the back for bracing?

 

Probably wouldn't hurt. Mine have been "fixed" twice now. >_> and just broke them yesterday again...

 

Any of you folks work at a yota dealership?
