Hey can anyone give me a heads up on what to expect weather wise in October and November up in Bettis PA? I may be going up there to work for a few weeks.
I just want to know what type of weather I should pack for?

    Thanks!

Why would you leave Hawaii for cold snowy Pa?? ;)

Since there really is no "Bettis" Pa., although there should be in honor of the great Jerome "#36" Bettis, I'll assume you'll be working for Bettis labs near "the "Burgh".

Pack jeans, sweatshirts (Black and Gold are preferred) boots, etc and maybe some gortex. Some warm days will still allow shorts in Oct or Nov if yer ballsy.

    This may help too.... http://www.pittsburghese.com/

If ya wanna go to a "Stiller" game while your there...shoot me a PM.

    Good Luck!!

Hey thanks for the info guys/gals! Yeah I'll be up at Bettis Labs, doing some Q.A. inspections.
Hopefully I'll get to do some sight seeing? :D
I'm not too sure what my schedule will be like yet, but hopefully I'll have time to get out to D.C.

    Thanks for the help!

I started my own thread on this but whatever...yeah the title pretty much says it all. But I live there for most of the year and just purchased my first truck and I literally don't know where anything is around there... ie stores, trustworthy repair shops, and basic things Ill need to take care of my vehicle.

also Im be looking for a VERY good detailing place. I spent around an hour buffing the truck I just bought and I realized 2 things 1) I WILL NEVER buy a black vehicle again, and I need to get it professionally detailed. So keep me posted [IMG]

I was born in clearfield and my old stomping grounds were houtzdale ,irvona, and coalport. My brother lives in williamsport and worked at the hammermill before they closed it down. He has a huge ass older suburban that he muds alot somewhere in that area.

He also has a 1955 chevy hearse converted by a company called "National" I believe.

Cool, I work in Williamsport. Hammermill is now owned and operated by First Quality in Lock Haven. They converted it over to make toilet paper and paper towels.
