Ahh man... Boat sounds even nicer! Haha. There are so many lakes with in an hour from both of us... My max lake size for the yak is right around 200 acres... I can cover the whole lake in a day of fishing with a lunch break

The tailgate would handle it... I used to put my 4 wheeler in the bed of it... Using one of those fold up ladder style ramps... Tailgate is still going strong... And my one buddy is 300 lbs plus and sits on it...

Yup I use live gills on one rod and cut on another. Then I usually run whatever on my bass rod. The closest water to me that holds flats is the allagheny river. I usually fish down below the locks.

Yeah when I go for catfish that's all I go for so typically my bass rod I run big minnows/shiners or chicken liver. My live gill rig is a 7' uglystik catfish rod with Abu 6500 C3. My cut bait rod is a 8' uglystik catfish rod with a ryobi fintek sx5m spinning reel. If I lived closer to big cat water I'd get more and better gear. Btw a local sportsmans club told me they have a decent deep pond. They said that they have blue catfish in it. They said they are huge. Not that I believe them but I may have to check it out this year.

Wissy kinda sucks....not the creek, there are so many "locals" that just fill up buckets and leave. Gets fished out in record time.

If you want I'll take you to some good spots on the skippack, perky, or French

    They restock the skip tomorrow

Well the Yak is now at my new home so if anyone wants to fish I am available pretty much any day during the week after 1400 or Friday and weekends any time as long as I don't have duty no work on Fridays for me normally unless there is something big going on

    Just a couple things

I'm late to the party but figured I'd put my two cents in. I've actually got last years field and stream angler kayak and then ended up buying the pelican as well. If I had a chance to do it again I'd just get two of the Pelicans. That field and stream gets to be a bitch tossing on top of a truck. The pelican is much easier to handle. I've stood up in both fly fishing. I do like the new chair design in the field and stream but I saw the weight of that thing. I'm currently looking for a trailer to haul them around. Make it a little easier on myself. I have the kayak racks attached to my prinsu. image.jpg

That is awesome. How do you like the pelican. I'm really really thinking about that one. I should get some racks.

I dig it. Lighter and shorter. Seat is pretty comfortable. More so than the field and stream. Looks like field and stream made made the seat better in the new model. Cheaper. Not made in communist China. Definitely easier to toss around. I use Malone folding racks.
