Just found this page...I'm from Butler County. Also, I will be driving back to Pennsylvania in a couple weeks and have a few things for sale if anyone is interested. All off of a 2001 Tacoma.

1.New set of front bushwacker cutout flares with hardware ($200)
2. Used K&N Cold Air Intake ($100)
3. Set of stock wheels and tires (265/70r16... I believe) tires have about 80-90% tread left. Cooper Discoverers ($600)

Anyone have any recommendations on an air compressor? I'm looking for something to run 1/2" impact and 3/8" ratchet. I'd like to find something on Craigslist. It will be used for working on cars, filling tires, etc. Also don't have any 220v outlets so can't go that route.

 

impacto is gonna require a pretty good sized tank

if you don't mind a little noise harbor freight has a 21 gal for $159 with coupon (expires tomorrow).

i'm supposed to be splitting a 60 gallon with my cousin this week. he currently has a 20, that may come up for sale soon. but honestly HF compressors are a pretty good buy for the money. If i didn't have $500 in depot gift/store credit i'd be buying their 60, thing has a 5 HP motor on it compared to most having a 3.

 

I know my impact has a scfm of just over 5, it seems most compressors that meet that are around 4 HP and 20 gallons. I really just want something that would allow me to rotate my tires without having to wait for it to refill, since I'm pretty sure that's the highest demand I would have.

Milwaukee m18 impact.........thats what I usually do

M18 back on as tight as the drill will go then torque wrench to spec, cheap and easy.

if all else fails, take your time and double your beer intake

 

I've got a 30gal in my shop - does what I need it to do. 120 too, not 220

Back in 1989 I bought a Big Red 7.5 HP for around $3,000 new

I would never go back to a small compressor.

 

I run the 21 gallon 2.5 HP Harbor Freight compressor for my home garage, does everything I need it to do. Puts out 4.7 cfm at 90 psi which is just under what my 600ft lb impact needs but usually never is an issue. Under heavy use it will run constantly but it's not a big deal. One day I will probably go 60 gallon but not necessary for right now.

 

Go to Lowes or home depot and see if they have returns... Im not sure if you have to have a special thing with them but my friends dad does this and gets them for a really cheap price fixes them up and sells them.

Im sugesting Steves prince of steaks, Comly and Roosevelt Blvd in Philly across from the old Nibisco. Plenty of free parking at the restaurant. Well I decided to have a mod day today but only got my BAMF LCA skids and wheel spacers on. The sliders will have to wait. After opening the hardware package I found it was all bare metal and didn't have time to paint and let dry. I love the wider stance of spacers but now tires rub like a MF at full turn.

So my question is I'm going on a fishing trip next weekend (running the beach) and I can make time to do cab mount chop but no time to plate it in before I go. Will mount be strong enough to make a 400 mile road trip?

No, I replaced those already. Need to swap in the replacement axle shaft so I can finally get it inspected a month late.

 

Truck drives fine with the rear locked.
