Gotcha guessing it can throw the truck off balance

 

20s were on the truck when I bought it. Was trying to avoid buying new wheels so I could spend money on other things.

 

Could hook you up with some stock 17" wheels... Id let them go for a fair price after I get my new set of tires in 2 months or so

 

I got stock steelies 16"s with the shitty stock tires less then 2k miles on them 350$ and they yours or bo

 

How wide are the stockers? Not keen on putting a 12.5 tire on a narrow rim.

All the 17" wheels I am finding are 9 wide.

 

16" prolly 8.5" then

 

My 17" that r on my truck now are 9" wide

 

8.5" is withing the recommended rim sizes for most 35/12.50s

 

Yea my stock 16" have literaly been sitting in my basement since i brought my teuck home from the dealer.

 

I could walk to Steam from my house... As most of you know I do not drink so I do not frequent the establishment. I have eaten there though and as I recall the burger was on point.

Like putting a 12.4" tire on a 7" rim? Most second gen stockers can rock 12.5" tires. And you can get them cheap most places. Really all depends on what you want from the truck. Wheeling on a 20" I imagine is rough.

You are describing my truck exactly right now. Its a sharp click that i have located to front/driver corner. I suspect the gsp axle to be the culprit. Only does it just immediatly before i come to a complete stop.
Possibly a sticking brake caliper?

 

When?

 

I really don't think mine is brake related beacuse it happens over bumps also. There's no play in my pads, rotors, or dust shields. I'm starting to think it has something to do with the skidplate or bumper crash bar or something in that area. When I stand outside and have my girlfriend try and make the noise It seems to be coming more from the middle of the truck.
