Yup. Going to go with rustolium bed liner and a couple coats of primer.

Why am I thinking bed liner is better without primer? Feel like I read that somewhere, scuff clean and spray

Trying to get ahead of the game, I know I have spoken to a few of you about this, but I'm due for breaks.. any recommendations? I know jack squat about what I want vs what I actually need.

I needed pads badly so I went to pep boys and just got pads there but id get EBC brake pads and rotors.. I cant remember if slotted and not drilled or drilled and not slotted but its not both because mud will clog one of the 2 and I am pretty sure its if you get it drilled...

If you are going to just reuse your rotors Don't get your rotors turned... Either re use them as is or get new ones. Getting them turned or machined thins them out and can cause issues with our trucks... Warping and then making the wheel bearing fail...

Blanks offer more surface area which are better initially. Drilled/slotted were designed for race cars and are better if you're frequently braking HARD because they cool faster which prevents fading.

Personally I've gotten crap stuck in between the dust shield and the rotor which is annoying but easy to work free just by driving. The last thing I want on my rotors is a place for a hard object to wedge itself in and ruin the pads, so I run blanks.

The truck is almost at 90,000 so I was figuring on replacing everything... Was just going to take it to a shop owned by a member of the Fire company. Told Him I wanted to do the research first and get what was best.

So between the two of your responses, @pittim is leaving me slightly confused, EBC's with blanks? Would be what I'm looking for correct?
There are times where HARD braking occurs, when people fail to move right and decide to move left for my lights going to a call. But that's rare, that I'm breaking that harshly in the truck.

Let me ask this, are you "unhappy" with how your brakes are now?

I think hell be happy with stock setup or EBC pads and blanks and stainless steel braided lines... Those are the greatest things i have done to my truck so far

I use Toyota pads. Have a set of front and rear ss lines but only have the rears on right now. Rotors.... Idk what's on it... Could be factory for all I know. When I did the rears at 150k I had the drums turned and got whatever advanced had for shoes. Fronts I use Toyota pads. I have 180k as of now and I'm on my 2nd set of front pads in 50k. I also drive like a grandma.... DD @12 mpg sucks.

I bought autozone premium pads and premium rotors. I'm satisfied with their performance.

Spotted you early this week coming down green lane. You were going through the light as I was just getting down to the train tracks.

Spotted a silver taco with new shoes and thought it was probably you. How you like the lift?

Yea that was most likely me. I really like the lift, I'm very happy with the ride and the stature.

Honestly I think I'm happy with them... I suppose, I have never had anything else. The truck was stock when I got it 5 years ago, and I haven't replaced the breaks yet.
