I live fairly close to cranberry. Pittim is close up that way too.

Grove city outlets are not to far either. Big outlet mall, however they are also outside.

oh and Janster the little saying under your name (search you fools!) would be so much better if your avatar was gandalf before he fell into the pit in lord of the rings. When he says: fly you fools.
Not sure if you saw the movie.

Thanks I really appreciate the help. I'll try to make a point and go by there for the sandwich. We are going to be there for a week and I have never been and her parents just moved there about a month ago, so not sure if they know much to do there either.

hoodies. I wear a hooded sweatshirt under all my jackets. When I'm walking to the car I put it up. when its down it still keeps the wind and cold from freezing the back of your neck or blowing down you shirt. Its ussually not this cold this time of year. Now late Jan early Feb. forget about it. it could easily be below 0 with the wind chill factor.

Kudos. You don't see this to often. Is it a southern thing to still ask permission?

Not just a southern thing. I feel its also proper. I did not however ask my father in law. Mostly because I knew what he would say. we were a little to young.

They were probably afraid you were going to return her. Did you keep the receipt?

It's the RIGHT thing to do.....

I'm guessing that most guys don't ask permission because they don't have a good relationship with the in-laws-to-be. And asking permission would only result in a ....NOOOOOOOOooooooooo!!

On the contrary, if you have a good enough relationship I suspect that it's implied.
