Dif diaper?

 

Was thinking more like a "landing strip". Low profile but enough to hit the rocks first and with a little extension uo the back to prevent damage to the ring gear. I hate those big bolt on diff skids

Yup mines low pro which actually sucked less material for the wrench to bite on. And mine is a 24mm.

I will also look into a plug "cover" . if I find oioe the right size I can skice off a bunch of rings and send them out

 

You could probably make something work, and probably for less than $400 too. Just start welding pieces of 1/4 plate on there

My factory hex head plug sits below the level of the bung, and still has some scars on it. But a little build up around it should add more protection

 

Sorry for living under a rock, but what happened that he got banned?

 

Has this been handled yet? I'm not in this thread a lot so I just saw it. I'd be willing to give a hand. I've never installed one, but if he needs just an extra set of hands I could do that.
