I beat u. I did it on my phone less than 20 secs.

 

Got the 35s mounted today. Can't drive the truck yet waiting on parts. My concern though is out of the 5 they could only balance 2. The other two needed 30oz of weight!? And the other needed a pile of weight too. They didn't have enough weights. Ugh I'll put the two good ones up front and see how it drives. Anybody ever use those tire beads? Wonder if they'd help.

 

Huh didn't know that. Just a small local shop. Although that could be why the guy kept looking at the sidewall. I just assumed he was looking for the inboard/outboard stamp.

I have tire beads in one of my tires. When it was on the front it would shake the steering wheel every once in a while as if it was out of balance. IIRC @stairgod informed me that beads don't help with lateral balance. You might be able to do regular weights and beads.

 

Send backthe three that needed a ton of weight and get new ones. No fucking way should any tire need that much weight to balance.
When mounting big tires it it always a good idea to throw the bare rim on balancing machine, and mark the heavy spot. That way when trying to balance the tire you know how to spin the tire on the rim to reduce the weight needed.
