From the pinch I was wondering if was double wound.

 

Yep. Removed the grill. Not bumper. And it all went away. I thought the samething. How would that do that. No clue. But it did.

Yes I've noticed people start to pull out in front of me. Then stop. It's funny.

 

I was on the verge of buying 2 cv shafts. And only Toyota had them. But first we were going to:
Remove grill. Worked
Remove bumper.
Remove each cv shaft and test.
If none worked put in the front diff drop
If none worked. Sell everything and blow the biatch up. Game over.

 

Most of us have been there a few times. I had the lighter in my hand more than once.

 

It was stressful 2 days. But like you said u guys have been there. More than likely more then me. But it's figured out. I felt bad my friend had his bay tied up. Hell we had it on a alignment rack front and back jacked up and ran it at 45mph. Nothing. He said. Take this grill off. I said what the hell is that gonna do?
He said listen we drive it. U get the sound no matter if truck is in neutral, in gear with clutch pushed in, stopped reved up to 3,000 rpm. Just do it. I'm grasping at straws. And BAM it was the issue.
I then taped the holes in the bumper. Put the grill back on. Drove it. Sound vibe came back. Pulled over removed grill. No vibe.

I've never had a setup like this before. How should I proceed on dialing in the shocks. I have the click adjusters on there.

You tell me. John is your friend. It's up to him. I'll be there whenever he wants me there.

 

Iirc, Kings only have adjustment on compression. So I would say start on the middle setting. Hit some decent bumps. If it feels harsh, back off a click and try again. If it feels floaty, go up a click. Most guys set it to it's softest setting for trails.

What rear shocks are u going with again?

 

it came out if the rear diff and it appears that the driver side seal is leaking a wee bit so I just put 2 and 2 together and got 22. Haha. Getting the stub shaft in tomorrow, add tube back on. C.v axle in. And hopefully get it all back together and torqued. Add oil to the diffs I'll probably remove the rear drive shaft to break in the front gears for a few days. Hopefully if it doesn't rain tomorrow. It's supposed to be pm storms though.

 

Hopefully everything works out. Keep a positive outlook.

And park with the driver's side high. Keep the oil in the axle.
