Grasshopper, so much to learn... Passes are only given when the husband has earned them by doing everything on the Honey Do list and more. And, never is any job a 2 pass job.. In fact, usually a HARD months work is good for one pass.

Well, I don't know if congratulations are in order or.... sympathy.. It sounds like, you are getting laid about as often as this married guy.. (from the spouse of course)

To my buddies defense, he has a 3 year old and an infant at home. Both him and his wife work day jobs. So he's thrilled to get out for some adult time after work. So I understand how his wife wants him around in the evenings to try to take care of the kids.

Oh yeah.. I could see that. I can't hardly stand in a checkout line with an unruly tot. Much less even think about being stuck at the house with 2.. OMG Just do not have the patience or NERVES to contend with that at this time in my life.

It's that HONEY DO LIST thing. I told my wife if she writes a honey do list for me she will get a "HONEY AINT GOT LIST" 1 on the list is Ain't got no place to live.
I know what needs to be done and it gets done.... when I get to it.
To be fair she is free to do what she wants.

Thats awesome... That you and your daughter have things in common to do. As, you know, the days will come when she will have other things to do that doesn't include you. So, yes. Cherish the time and make the memories. As for the wife. Mine, would actually wonder what I'm up to. If i started hanging out at night. She knows, I work and I come home and I work on projects around here. And, if I don't get done I stay with it. And, then another project will have begun. Its a vicious circle. That I enjoy, somewhat. i like to see things finished. And there is always something to do. Plus. In my earlier years. I partied, hung out, played pool, drove around for hours and accomplished, nothing. So, maybe its my own guilt thing. Don't know. It doesn't bother me. I never heard of anyone that died doing something they enjoyed doing.

Ha! I told my wife, before we got married, that if I ever saw anything resembling a honey do list, I’d be done.

Worked well so far. I’m with you, I do what needs to be done, when I’m ready to do it.

The way some of these guys complain, or make their manly claims... pfft. Don’t get me wrong. Some of my best friends have the greatest relationships. Equal all around, he cooks, she does the dishes, vice versa, he gets a gun, she gets a gun, he buys ammo, she buys ammo. They both get their allotted nights out and nights in with their 16month old.

I’m content with out all that stuff.

It cost me$300,000.00 to get rid of mine !!

    Worth every cent .

In truth the only real down side is not having help when I am up on the ladder but after the time the EX walked away and the ladder fell down with me on the Roof It was only a matter of time
