I really wanted to head to PA from NYC today since work was cancelled, but I'm being cautious and staying home. Stay safe y'all.

Heavy load on branches here (northern Berks) when I woke up. Road/walk/driveway was just wet. Now everything is white and there is even more load on the branches. A bit of wind would be helpful but it's pretty calm. Just snow coming down. Forecast is still over a foot.

It just started to coat the streets and sidewalks here, and probably a half an inch in the last fifteen minutes. We just might get a foot if it keeps coming at this rate.

Northern Berks. I just reported the outage to the utility and checked their map. To my surprise there are only a couple of outages in the area, so maybe it will be back on soon. They're estimating 2 hours, but they also report not having dispatched a team yet. And the stuff is heavy, and the trees are bending, so even if they do fix it I wouldn't be surprised if it goes out again.
