I first I was like..."How will I get into my truck??"

Then I realized, since I've had my truck, I've never put my key in the door lock. Keyless entry FTW.

Yes and if the battery dies on you then you are still able to remove them.

The ones I am making for the BMW are more difficult to remove and I need to find a way around that.

Is there one that will fit a popnlock?
Mine gets all kinds of salt and stops working even with keeping it graphited.
I am on my 2nd one.
That would be worth it if you had a universal one?

 

Unfortunately keyhole covers are specific for each car. I would have to work with a popnlock to determine what would size would work and make a cut on the stem so that it goes in all the way.
What color is the unit?

ill give you a hint. use wheel bearing grease. dip the key in it and insert into the slot and repeat until the lock has alot of grease. it will seal off and repel water. i did that to my truck tool boxes and never had a problem. a locksmith in lake george taught me that trick.

 

I understand. Its about the size of nickel, looks like the cylinders that go into a file cabinet or tool box. Gonna try yoytoda trick.
