Kfmyers9 Purple Taco Build

Ok here's a little back story.

Bought my 99 Tacoma V6 extra cab 4x4 December of 2014, stock all the way around.

Truck has slight coolant and oil leaks that still need to be addressed, but slowly but surely is my game. Switched jobs a few times and about 65000 miles later still has the same leaks, but they haven't progressed.

Replaced starter, rack and pinion, stock stereo.

Added Uniden CB, deleted 60/40 and installed bucket and console.

Also has a stainless steel Gibson cat back, still getting used to it.

After a few long years old keeping up with maintenance I am finally able to start dropping some money into the truck.

Camburg uppers
Bilstein 5100 all around
OME 2883 coils
Dakar rear leafs
And all bushings, drop kit

OEM suspension is really worn out and my mechanic and myself decided to get this done before sourcing a 5VZ to rebuild and swap.

Pictures to come soon, but I would like to thank everyone here at TW for all the countless threads of information. Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated. This is one of my first projects so be easy!

 

Also swapped second gen wheels, and went to Firestone destination A/T 265/75r16.
Lights are sisto except two night Rider pods where turn signals used to be.

Here's some updated pictures, also picked up a set of vision warrior 16x8 for super cheap. Also replaced radiator while we were going at the suspension.
