I recently started working at Lowes. I really am loving life in Tallahassee. Got some painters tape today with my discount and decided to derp the rear bumper. I love the way it looks, got a few areas I need to touch up, but I ran out of derp and don't feel like going back to work to get some.

So far, 2 cans of derp has done my grill, badges, center console surround and cup holders (which I've undone, doesn't hold up that well since those areas are constantly being rubbed), climate control surround and rear bumper. Pretty good for only being about $11.

The only remaining chrome on my truck is the bullbar, which will soon be derped and eventually replace with a real bumper.

Also, got a K&N air filter to replace the crap stock one. Got a great deal on it as well. Thanks a lot Jason!

Yep, the suspension is still completely stock with the exception of the TSB leaf pack, which is every pic except for the very first one at the dealer.

The 32" BFG A/Ts looked and performed great. No rub at all, but they sure looked huge. The 265/70/16s I have on the truck at the moment look tiny.

Got the new stereo installed. Got a JVC KD-X40 head unit with a black Metra DIN kit. The DIN kit was a pain in the ass to put together, and getting the clock out of the factory unit was an even larger pain in the ass, wiring it was a lot easier than I thought.

The lights on the stereo are adjustable through a color wheel, I currently have the buttons set up to be the exact same color as the dash, and the display for track info just randomly transitions through all the colors.

I'm pretty much 100% on this look for now. Next paycheck will be 5100s and installing my lift. Treadwrights may soon follow.

The black lower grill looks so unbelievably aggressive. I love it.

Well, its been over a year since I first plasti derpped the front grill. When I originally did it I only painted the areas that had been covered by the stock chrome. Yesterday I decided to redo it, as the plasti derp had begun fading slightly and had chips in some areas. This time I painted the entire grill and it looks 1000x better than leaving the center peices the stock black plastic.

Did loose a tab on the Toyota emblem though. Thinking about derping it black as well and trying to use a TINY amount of gorilla glue to hold it on. What do you guys think?

Check out the before and after pics.

Also, bought a little handle for my spray cans made by Rustoleom at work the other day for like $5. I hate using spray cans because I hate having to hold the little nozzle down. That handle makes it far, far easier and more enjoyable to use a spray paint. Definitely worth $5.

Thanks man, it may not be built like some of the other trucks on here, but I love it. I actually believe I've seen you around town before. What area do you work in? I work at the Lowes on Commonwealth.

Got a new set of 265/75/16 BFG A/Ts. Love the extra ground clearence and traction over the old Michelans. Truck looks lifted in this pic, it's all stock. Looks great.

These tires are not cheap, but they are freaking worth it.

Hit 100K on New Years day. Gonna have the Transmission flushed, oil and diff fluid changed, and the coolant flushed on my next paycheck. Starting to think about just getting 5100s and not using the 885s so I can still get my truck into parking garages on campus. Idk.

Added a TRD decal to the rear window.
