Finishing up install of kick Ass 170 AH AGM Slimline with WAGAN 40 Amp DCDC Charger behind rear seat connected to Auxbeam 6 channel pod. Planning to add hood solar and Group 31 starting battery next. Routing to lights and fridge. Also connected to bypass switch to connect batteries in emergency.

If you want an easy way to monitor everything add a Victron smart shunt. With just lights and a fridge you’d probably make your 85ah last a pretty long time but it’s nice to know for sure where you’re at in terms of remaining capacity.

Thanks! Have been considering some form of monitoring. The WAGAN DcDc has a monitoring system but will see how effective it is. The battery is decent sized, 170AH, looking forward to getting it in the truck. Was happy to see a battery that size fit behind the seat!!
