Kicker 46CSC654- Front door only?

Kicker 46CSC654 CS Series 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers at Crutchfield

Morning Team,
I can get my hand on a set of these speakers locally and relatively cheap on marketplace. Crutchfield (via the link above) says they will only fit the front Doors of my 2018 4Door Sport.

Does anyone know if i can "make" them fit in the rear doors easily? From what I can tell the only thing making them "not" fit in the rear Doors is where the mounting screw points are located.

Id rather put after market 6x9s in the front door like the factory's are but if this is a decent speaker (that anyone has experience with) im happy to just load them in the front and call it a day.

I'm not looking to ad any amps or anything....I just want "better" sound than the factory ones.

Hey did you find out if they fit? I ordered some by mistake and before I try to install, I’d like to know what your experience was. I found videos saying they fit, but crunch field says otherwise.

 

Yeah Man- They fit just fine.....at least I didn't have any issues.

 

for anyone down the road finding this thread, crutchfield claims a lot of 6.5" speakers dont fit the rear doors. They have the measurement wrong in their system for clearance between then speaker cone and the door panel.

Also, while 6.5's will fit in the front doors, it is strongly recommended to stick with 6x9's for most use cases. some people spending top dollar will opt for 6.5's, but they typically know what they're getting into

make sure you have the brackets, but that applies to all speakers for all vehicles

Thanks for the info @destin_meeks -- Good looking out.... I only went with those 6.5s because i got them new/used for CHEAP on Marketplace.
