Kicker 48KSS269 Speakers *sold*

I got a set of Kicker 48KSS269 in like new condition. This is direct replacement for front stock speakers and tweeters. I have the jbl system in my truck and it doesnt work correctly which is why im selling it. Great upgrade for someone without the jbl system in their truck. All you need to purchase is the speakers/tweeters harness.

How do I know exactly if I have the JBL system?

 

It would say it on your front door speakers and your headunit. Also if you open your right rear passenger seat there will be a sub in the back.

can i ask why you cant use this with JBL? i have jbl as well and am curious

 

The stock jbl uses 2.3ohms for the amp and these speakers are 4ohms

 

I heard you just have to turn up the volume to a higher number to get it to sound normal. I ended getting a set of jbl speakers

Ya stock Jbl runs 2ohm and majority of speaker brands run 4ohm. Crutchfield is the place, call them and explain and they know EXACTLY what you'll need to switch from jbl. It's what I did and it was a tremendous help. You need a software adapter typically to make 4ohms work and a new Amp. They are super helpful and informative.
