Kicker 6x9

Can I install kicker 6x9 front door speakers with out the wire adapter??? Pmease help I just bought the kicker 6x9 dsc69630

Not to sure I just got these kicker 6x9 and I'm trying to I stall them but I dont have any adapters for them

 

Yes, but you will need to cut off the Toyota connector and connect to the speaker lead that comes with the Kicker. Easy, no problem.

 

I removed the connectors off the factory speakers but it was a pain.

 

Why not just cut the wires and splice?

 

Or just get an adapter from Amazon

 

Judging by the fact that you didnt get the wire adapter, Im wondering if you got the speaker adapter too?

 

Screw the bish in and hook the wires up. It’ll work.

 

What's the colors? Witch one is pos n neg

 

They are labelled on the kicker connectors. I believe Toyota uses white positive. Black negative. You could check this with the OEM speaker. I believe it also has the polarity labelled.

Did you get the adapters for the door too?

 

If you order from Crutchfield you get Speaker socket adapters and door plastic speaker holders. The speaker holders are a universal type that work pretty good. Not exactly perfect, but damn close. I just did this exact upgrade in my truck.

How have you been enjoying the new speakers?

 

I'm happy with them for the cost. Well worth it imo.
