Kicker DS650.2 vs KS650.2

I went to best buy the other day and decided to check out what they had in the way of components. I really liked the sound quality of the kicker ds650.2's but noticed there rms is only 60watts. I am going to be running the Alpine MRA-D550 5channel amp which puts out 60 watts RMS x 5 at 4 ohms.


My question is would i be better going up to the KS speakers or just staying with the DS series? Also, whats the sound quality difference between the 2 if any.

 

i have the kicker ds650s they sounds really clean high but then again i have a 1000watt amp running to all 4 of them. i like them, they just dont have a lot of bass to them.

 

your running 1000 watts into speakers that handle 50 watts rms?

 

i'll double check my system, im getting ready to do another overhaul of it. but they sound really crisp and clean at the highest volume. they dont sound muffled at all on any level i put them on (1-35 volume on my alpine) clear on all levels
